Colab Dev

The MCP service controls one Colab instance named dev.

Open WebTerm   Service health

Connect

Use /mcp with your bearer token. Call start to provision or reconnect the high-RAM development instance, then status to check boot and restore metrics.

Storage

Source and installed packages belong in /home/dev. Build outputs and caches always belong in /build. Home backups are saved to gdrive:devhome.tar.zstd every 15 minutes. A normal stop waits for a successful backup.

A replacement VM restores files, not running processes. /build is temporary. WebTerm requires its separate browser password.
